WE'RE NOT HERE TO IMPRESS YOU.
WE'RE HERE TO WALK WITH YOU.
SAME JESUS. DIFFERENT FRONT DOOR.
Welcome to Church 12:1.
We're Mike and Debra Chapman. We're pastors, a husband-and-wife team, and two people who still believe Jesus changes lives.
We've spent years in ministry, walking alongside people through some of life's greatest celebrations and hardest seasons. We've seen what happens when people encounter the love of Jesus. And we've learned something along the way:
Church was never supposed to be about putting on a show. It was supposed to be about people.
That's the heart behind Church 12:1.
SO, WHAT EXACTLY IS CHURCH 12:1?
Fair question.
We're a Christian community built around a simple idea: following Jesus, doing life together, and making room at the table for people who might not feel at home in a traditional church setting.
We believe in the power of Scripture, the presence of the Holy Spirit, the importance of prayer, and the life-changing grace of Jesus Christ.
We're not trying to reinvent Jesus.
We're just opening a different front door.
Some people will find us through a podcast. Others through a weekly message. And some might show up because somebody invited them to dinner.
However you arrive, there's room for you.
MEET MIKE & DEBRA.
TWO PEOPLE, ONE MISSION, HIS STORY

Collectively, Mike and Debra Chapman have spent more than 30 years serving in ministry, leadership, and community life.
Mike's journey has included pastoral leadership, church planting, more than two decades of military service, and work as a published author and inventor.
Debra has been actively involved in women's ministry and is a published author in her own right. She is currently pursuing a degree in Ministerial Leadership & Care, with a concentration in Pastoral Counseling.
Together, their experiences have shaped a shared passion for helping people discover that faith isn't something reserved for Sunday mornings.
It's something we live on Monday, too.
WE'VE BEEN TO HELL AND BACK.
AND WE HAVE A STORY TO TELL.
Church 12:1 isn't just another ministry we're starting. It's our story.
We've experienced the mountaintops and the valleys. We've known joy, heartbreak, disappointment, and seasons when all we could do was hold on to Jesus.
We've been through hell and back. And we're still here.
Not because we've done everything right. Not because we've always had the answers. And certainly not because life has been easy.
We're here because of the grace, mercy, and faithfulness of Jesus Christ.
We don't want to build a church around personalities, perfect appearances, or pretending life is something it isn't.
We're going to be real with you. We'll laugh together. We'll talk about the hard stuff. We'll share what God has brought us through, and we won't pretend that following Jesus means life never hurts.
But through it all, we're going to do two things:
WE'RE GOING TO POINT YOU TO JESUS.
AND WE'RE GOING TO GIVE HIM THE GLORY FOR ALL HE HAS DONE.
That's not just something we say.
That's why Church 12:1 exists.
WHY CHURCH 12:1?
The name comes from Hebrews 12:1.
It reminds us that life is a race of faith—one we were never meant to run alone.
We all carry stories. We all face challenges. We all have moments when we need somebody to remind us to keep going.
Church 12:1 is about encouraging one another to run the race with perseverance, keeping our eyes on Jesus.
Not competing with each other.
Not pretending we're stronger than we are.
Running together.
CHURCH MIGHT LOOK A LITTLE DIFFERENT HERE.
You won't find a complicated schedule of programs just to keep everybody busy.
You'll find weekly messages, honest conversations through our Let's Get Real podcast, prayer, Scripture, and opportunities to gather around a table.
Our monthly Dinner Church is exactly what it sounds like.
We bring food. We share stories. We laugh. We pray. We talk about Jesus.
And yes, somebody will probably bring a casserole.
THERE'S A PLACE FOR YOU HERE.
Maybe you've been following Jesus for decades.
Maybe you've been away from church for years.
Maybe you're not even sure what you believe.
You don't have to have all the answers to join the conversation.
Come as you are. Bring your questions. Bring your story. And if it's Dinner Church, bring something to share if you can.
We're glad you found us.
